- Frequently Asked Questions:
What
is WWN?
WWN is the Westside Women's Network. We are a community of women business
owners, entrepreneurs and professionals committed to expanding and improving
our businesses through shared educational opportunities, networking and involvement
in the community.
Is WWN
a membership organization, and if so, how can I join?
WWN is a committee of the Greater West L.A. Chamber of Commerce (GWLACC).
GWLACC membership is not required to attend WWN events; however, GWLACC members
qualify for discounted WWN event fees in addition to other GWLACC-sponsored
events. The GWLACC is an excellent organization with great membership benefits
and we highly recommend joining. The GWLACC currently has more than 1000 members,
and more than 50% of these members are women. To learn more about WWN and
the GWLACC, come to a meeting or e-mail us at info@westsidewomensnetwork.org.
How
are you implementing your mission?
Formerly known as the Women's Business Entrepreneurial Network, in 2003, we
revitalized our committee to reflect our core values of strength through synergy
and shared resources. Our new name, the Westside Women's Network (WWN), reflects
that model of cooperation. We are establishing strategic alliances in our
own businesses and look forward to expanding those relationships with more
women on the west side of Los Angeles.
When
are your meetings and where are they located?
WWN meetings take place on the last Tuesday of every month from 6 p.m. to
8 p.m. and, unless otherwise noted on the events
page, are held at:
